Community Partnerships

Connecting with our community is extremely important to us, and we seek to prepare our young Campbellians to become responsible and considerate citizens, and effective contributors to society.

We enjoy extensive links with our local community, including schools, universities, churches, charities, environmental agencies and creative arts organisations.

Cabin Hill Court

Our boys love to visit their neighbours at Cabin Hill Court.  They enjoy sharing their news from Junior School and finding out about the life histories of the ladies and gentlemen who reside there.

Local Schools

We love to share our wonderful outdoor classroom with other schools, and enjoy meeting the boys and girls who come to take part in outdoor learning experiences within the College campus.

Medics in Primary Schools

Medical students from Queen’s University greatly enrich our Prep 6 pupils’ study of the Human Body and health education, through a six week placement at Junior School each year.

C.S. Lewis Festival

We enjoy a close partnership with the C.S. Lewis Festival and enjoy hosting a variety of Festival events, such as Toddlers’ Tales and the Nearly True Tours.

Charity Work

At Campbell, we seek to open the eyes, minds and hearts of our boys to look outwards to those in need, and to realise they can have a positive impact on the world around them.

Our Junior School Ambassadors work closely with the Senior School Charity Committee on the organisation and promotion of a wide range of fund-raising activities throughout the year.

The College’s nominated charity for this academic year is Marie Curie and lots of special events are planned to help raise money to support its wonderful work.

Other annual charity events at Junior School include:

  • Afternoon Tea Party in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
  • Harvest Thanksgiving donations of groceries to the Simon Community
  • Poppy Appeal in support of the Royal British Legion

‘Fund-Raising Fridays’ at the end of each month are intended to enable our whole school community to support a range of other charities that have been nominated by pupils or members of staff.
