The eagerly awaited final of ‘The S-Factor’ on Friday proved to be a tremendous success! After a week of exciting heats, our fourteen class winners competed in front of the whole of Junior School for the coveted trophy.

A range of dramatic scientific demonstrations, including lava lamps, sinking cups, a gas weigh-in, a rainbow drink and a lemon circuit captured the interest of all the aspiring scientists in the audience, and the Judges had great difficulty deciding who would be the overall winners.

Special thanks to Mrs Gwynne (The World Around Us Leader) for organising such a wonderful learning experience for our pupils, and to the Senior School staff and pupils for their fantastic help.

Thanks also to all our Junior School parents for encouraging and supporting their sons in what was, for many, their favourite Homework of the year!

Many of our boys are already planning their entries for our 2017 ‘The S-Factor’ competition!

Curtis & Joseph (Prep 4-7 Winners) and Eoghan & Oscar (Prep 1-3 Winners) are pictured with Mrs Crozier (Head of Physics in Senior School) and her panel of Year 11 Judges.
