    Ulster Squash Schools' Cup

With squash becoming an increasingly popular sport at Campbell, it came as no surprise that all of our teams competing in the Ulster Squash School’s Cup did very well.

Our U19 team consisting of Michael Johnston, Thomas Gillan and Ben Wills (Year 14) had lots of play as they were in a round robin pool with 3 other teams.  All played well but both MCB and Ballyclare proved to be too strong resulting in 3rd place positioning for CCB.

Despite being novice players, CCB U13 Team consisting of Otis Agbaje, Conor McGimpsey and Peter McVeigh (Year 9) did well to come 3rd in their section against some strong opposition particularly from Down High and MCB.

CCB "A" and "B" U13 teams went head to head in the final.  Moral was high and matches were played in good spirit throughout. The U13 "A" Boys team of Seb Leeson, Euan Tyler and Lukas Kenny have qualified for the Irish Schools Cup on 28th April.

As an up and coming sport at Campbell, if anyone wishes to play squash we would encourage them to speak with a member of the P.E. department to find out times of practice.
