Mr McKee introduced a group of Year 13 A Level English Literature students to the renowned Aspects Festival, an annual festival that brings stars of the literary world together to celebrate Irish writing.

The group were treated to a session with Michael Longley, one of our greatest living poets, as he read war poems during the Clandeboye Reading Party. Longley has produced twelve collections of poetry and was once described as ‘a keeper of the artistic estate, a custodian of griefs and wonders’ by Seamus Heaney.

Thank you Mr McKee, a very inspirational afternoon enjoyed by all!
