Sixth Form at Campbell College
In the final two years, the Sixth Form, boys reduce the number of subjects studied to those in which they feel most highly motivated, and begin to think about their intended university courses as preparation for their future working lives. The number of subjects and range of permutations offered at Campbell enable boys to select a sixth form curriculum of their choice, with careful guidance from their Personal Tutor and the Careers team.
In recent years, the College has invested significantly in enhancing the sixth form experience: the Sixth Form Centre, the Sixth Form Study Hall and the Careers Department have been new fashioned and united in the heart of the original 1894 building to striking effect. All of these developments have a logic and purpose in their own right. Each development is a physical embodiment of the school’s commitment to academic life, to learning to learn, and to the lives of all our pupils. The significant changes are not just about plumbing and pegs. It is about generating a physical environment and human face that will be welcoming to all pupils.
