Boarding : Welcome
Welcome to Campbell College School House
School House, as our boarding department is known, is two self-contained units within an impressive main building and, at present, caters for 118 boys; current developments will result in a new boarding house and a community of 165 by September 2012.
Junior Boarding
Our Junior Boarding students are aged 11-13 in Years 8-10; they board in dormitory style rooms in a combination of one to five boys per room. Junior boarding students have two sessions of Prep in the evening and they study centrally. They have access to kitchen facilities, have a dedicated TV room, and games room, incorporating a table tennis table, 2 pool tables and 2 games console/TVs.
Senior Boarding
Senior Boarding is sub-divided into 2 nominal areas: Years 11 – 12, where some Year 11 boys may be required to share rooms, but the majority of students have single bedsits. Year 11 study centrally while Year 12 boys study privately in their bedsit. Sixth Form students reside in a recently renovated complex which was specifically designed to prepare for the transition from school to university. Senior boarding students have scheduled Prep in the evening; they also have kitchen and dining areas, TV rooms, a games room, and games console areas.
School House students have full use of all the College’s facilities: including squash courts, basketball court, tennis courts, two sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, two all weather surfaces, the College library and ICT suite.
