Boarding : Home
Boarding has always been a central aspect of Campbell College. We believe it helps develop confidence, community spirit, independence, social skills, cultural awareness and respect for others.
School House, as our boarding department is known, is two self-contained units within our impressive main building and caters for the needs of around 70 boys. Accommodation permitting, we offer a short-term option which allows students to board for specific reasons, such as parents being away for business.
Boarding at Campbell offers excellent value for money compared to other UK boarding schools; the accommodation facilities are of a very high standard: Middle School House boys (age 11-14) board in dormitory style rooms and in a combination of 2, 4 or 5 boys per room. Senior School House boys have a study-bedroom of their own.
School House boys have full use of the College's facilities, including squash courts, tennis courts, two sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, two all weather surfaces as well as the College Library and ICT suite. School House also has designated kitchen areas and well-equipped TV, DVD and Games rooms.
Our boarding department undergoes regular, independent inspections by the Eastern Health and Social Services Board. These reviews have produced consistently excellent results highlighting how the College offers a quality service; a recommendation reflected in the satisfaction levels expressed by our students.
