Learning through play

Kindergarten caters for both boys and girls in their pre-school year. Under the Kindergarten Leaders, the children enjoy a varied and structured introduction to school life with the emphasis on learning through play.

There are a number of activities that will help your child prepare for the move to Kindergarten:

• Read to your child and show your son or daughter how enjoyable it can be;
• Talk and listen to your child, for example, discuss places that you have visited;
• Encourage your son or daughter to taste different foods and to eat meals as part of a large family group;
• Encourage your child to put on a coat, practise doing up buttons, putting on shoes and using a knife and fork.

Hours of Attendance:

• 8.45am – 2.00pm (Including lunch)
• 8.45am – 12noon (Optional)
