James Brown, Scott Dennis, Gary Worley, Nicholas McMinn and Malcolm Corry are all Ulster Champions in Medley and Freestyle Swimming, on Saturday they competed in the Irish Swimming Championships in Dublin and have earned themselves the title of All Ireland Champions coming first in the U10 Freestyle Relay and Second in the U10 Medley Relay. Under 10 Freestyle Relay team: Nicholas McMinn (Prep 5), Gary Worley (Prep 5), James Brown (Prep 6) and Scott Dennis (Prep 6). Under 10 Medley Relay team: James Brown (Prep 6, backstroke), Malcolm Corry (Prep 5, Breaststroke), Scott Dennis (Prep 6, Butterfly) and Nicholas McMinn (Prep 5, Frontcrawl). Headmaster, Mr Piggot, congratulated the boys on their achievement as he presented them with their medals at assembly on Monday. |
