School Life : Absence

Parents are asked to ensure that activities and appointments which result in school being missed are kept to a minimum. Where absence is unavoidable, for example, in the case of illness, parents are asked to phone the school before 9.00am and, when your child returns, send a brief explanatory note to the class teacher confirming details.

Permission must be sought from the school in advance if parents wish to take children on holiday during term time. Instances of this absence are not encouraged.
