Flying SoloAlan Stewart, Year 13 Dobbin’s, has been awarded a Scholarship to Canada with the RAF; he will be going for two weeks in the summer. There are a limited 20 Scholarships of this kind awarded in the UK and Alan is the only cadet in Northern Ireland to be in receipt of one. Furthermore, Alan has been awarded a Flying Scholarship to learn to fly solo. Once again, he is the only cadet in Northern Ireland to be presented with this and the only cadet in memory to be awarded both Scholarships. Congratulations Alan. |
