Surfs upJamie Russell, Year 10 Glenmachan, competed in the Irish Junior Surf Championships which were held in Rossnowlagh Co. Donegal at the end of August. Jamie competed against 15 other boys in his age category and battled against difficult sea and weather conditions in what was his second competition. Congratulations to Jamie who came in 2nd place.
Jamie Russell: Junior Surf ChampionJamie Russell, Year 10 Glenmachan, won the North Coast Junior Surf Championships on the 22-23 March at Portrush. It was a closely fought competition and in the final Jamie had to dig deep to produce his best to secure the win. Jamie has since been selected to represent Ireland at the European Junior Championships this summer
