Tennis Ace
Over the summer months, Ross Campbell, Year 9 Belmont, returned the following:
- won U14 Windsor Hard-court Championships in singles and doubles
- made the semi’s of U14 Fitzwilliam Irish Championships (in his lower year) in singles, mixed and boys doubles
- reached the finals of Ulster Championships at Belfast Boat Club
- made the final of U18 boys singles at Portadown
- won the Ballycastle U14 and U18 boys doubles
- played at interpros and won all his matches
- won the Nike Junior Tour and has been invited to play in the Masters in London at end of September.
- he has been chosen to represent Ireland in the Four Nations Tournament which was contested 15 - 17 September - he beat England but was defeated by Scotland and Wales.
