News: 2008-2009James' third Irish International Cap
James McKinney, Year 14 Price's, represented Ireland U18 squad at the 5 Nations Festival held in Italy during the Easter holidays. This was James' second international championship having already gained three Irish International Caps. The first match was against Wales and the Ireland team returned a 22-15 victory. The second match was against Italy and was the most notable of the team’s performance; James was the first to add to the scoreboard with a penalty goal ten minutes before half-time, the final score recorded a 29-3 win. The English squad cancelled the last match against Ireland citing poor pitch conditions; the Ireland team decided to play against the local rugby club anyway!
