News: 2008-2009Ulster Schools' Matchplay ChampionshipThese matches were played on Monday 6th April at Kirkistown Golf Club. As this was during the Easter holidays our Senior team was rather depleted however Scott and Ted, two new promising Year 10 golfers, were drafted in and performed admirably winning their Semi-Final matches. The weather was difficult, with high winds all day and driving rain in the afternoon however we defeated Portora Royal School in the morning’s Semi-Final 4 matches to 1. In the afternoon’s final we were up against a full strength Rathmore Grammar side and were defeated 5 - 0.
