‘Challenge to Youth’ archery competitionPatrick Huston, Year 11 Alden’s house took part in and won the ‘Challenge to Youth’ archery competition held in Bangor on 13 th November. This is a Northern Ireland-wide competition open to all archers under the age of 18. He won with a new personal best of 546 out of a possible 600 and was awarded the shield for first place. Patrick has also recently been selected for the 10-person Elite junior archery squad from which national and international teams will be drawn.
