News: 1st XV vs Welbeck College
The 1st XV squad played Welbeck College from Leicestershire on Fox’s Field Saturday 3 September.
The Welbeck tour party of 26 players was faced by an equally large Campbell squad in what was arranged as a three-period match. A beautiful morning, excellent pitch conditions and a very competitive occasion made this early season event a thoroughly worthwhile exercise.
In all, Campbell scored 5 tries and were successful with 4 conversions. Welbeck crossed our line on 1 occasion.
