News : Easter term
Golf team
Important tournaments beckon for the CCB Golf Team and recent form suggests that we will be competitive in the UK Championship, Irish Strokeplay Competition and Irish Matchplay Competition towards the end of April.
On the 13 and 14 March CCB host the ISGA Home International Trophy and battle will unfold over a two-day event at Royal County Down and Royal Portrush. The teams involved represent their respective countries England (Millfield), Wales (Monmouth), Scotland, (Loretto) and Ireland (CCB). The Irish Strokeplay National Final and Matchplay National Final at Co. Sligo Golf Club follow, shortly, on 21-23 April. The ISGA final at Wokefield Park, London on the 28 April is the final fixture of the season for the team.
Whatever the golfing Gods decree these individuals have been excellent ambassadors for the school and have firmly established CCB as one of the top school teams in Northern Ireland and the UK. If the putts begin to drop further ink may be devoted to the subject of CCB golf.
