News : Easter term 2008Music Society ConcertThe decision to follow the theme of the Oscars at this year’s Annual Music Society Concert proved to be inspired. The evening was structured around the happy alliance of sound and vision: the new Drama Studio, once more, demonstrated that it offers endless possibilities to the arts. Chris Thompson was our Multimedia Co-ordinator and he presented a most polished production. Everyone who was a part of this Concert is richer for the experience: the quality of the musicians’ play was of a very high order. Special mention should go to Aaron Leung, Year 12 School House, for his performance of Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano concerto; his talent is unbounded and inspiring. |
