News summer 2006-07:Passionate about Rugby
Campbell College celebrated recently as their U15 rugby team won a kit bag which included tops, shorts and socks for 20 players in the squad through The Belfast Telegraph’s ‘Passionate About Rugby’ initiative in association with the Bank of Ireland and supported by Ulster Rugby. Over 300 teams throughout Northern Ireland registered with the promotion with 18 lucky clubs and schools selected to attend the finale presentation evening at Ravenhill.
Richard McClean, Assistant Managing Director, The Belfast Telegraph, said “The response to the ‘Passionate About Rugby’ initiative proved extremely popular with over 300 teams registering. As sponsors of the Ulster Rugby team we are definitely ‘passionate about rugby’ and it was great to see so many young enthusiasts demonstrating their ‘passion’ throughout our promotion.
