News: Summer Term 2008U14 XV Plate winnersThe Under 14 XV finished off the season at the ‘Invitation 15-aside Competition’ held at RBAI and the ‘Invitation 7-aside Tournament’ at CCB. In the 15-aside Competition, CCB were narrowly defeated 7-0 by Ballymena Academy and were victorious against Belfast Royal Academy, which put them into the Plate Competition where they went on to record victories over Wallace High School and Royal School Dungannon and win the plate. On the following Saturday, CCB played host to the 7-aside Tournament. The XV topped their group and beat Belfast Royal Academy once again in the semi-final to line up against MCB in the final. Unfortunately, the MCB pack proved too strong for the U14 XV. Glenn Baillie, Year9 Knock, presented the Plate to the College. |
