School life : Pastoral Care
Campbell places a high priority on the pastoral care of each boy in our community. We contend that boys flourish when they are known individually and feel valued within a supportive, encouraging ethos. To this end, our pastoral system fosters a sense of belonging that not only enables boys to feel secure but also gives parents a first point of contact with staff who understand their son’s needs and value them as individuals.
At Campbell we view pastoral care as a whole school responsibility, recognising that all staff have a duty of care for ensuring the wellbeing of every boy. High expectations, hard work and mutual respect are accordingly the recurring themes of our school life.
Child Protection
The College’s Child Protection Policy is sent to parents before the start of the school year. This contains guidance on how parents may make known any concerns they have about their child’s safety. The Designated Teacher for Child Protection is Mr D Johnston and the Deputy Designated Teacher for Child Protection is Mr A Cluff.
