Young Enterprise 2008-09: Environ-Men

Young Enterprise students competed against nine schools in a Trade Fair on Saturday 21 February in Conswater Shopping Centre. The company, self-named, “Environ-men” sold 17 trees complete with a free love poem and a chocolate dipped strawberry.

The company were awarded a Special Prize that the Judges hadn’t anticipated awarding; in awarding the certificates the judges stated that, “Enviro-men from Campbell College should be highly commended. They were a well balanced, proactive and responsive company that were able to demonstrate a business that could sustain themselves in the market place regardless of the challenges. We were particularly impressed be their ability to divert, their teamwork, their awareness of environmental issues, their corporate values, and their speed in making a profit”.
