Admission to the College in Year 8 is by means of assessments provided by the Schools' Entrance Assessment Group (SEAG).   The results of the 2025 assessments will be available to access via the SEAG online portal on Saturday 24th January 2026. Please note that entry to Year 8 for day places is administered by the Transfer Office at the Education Authority and it is not possible to apply directly to the school for a place. The EA portal will be open from 27th January 2026 until 19th February 2026.

Applications for entry to Years 9, 10 and 11 in September 2026 will open in March 2026 . The closing date for applications is 30th April 2026. 

Applications should be made via our online admissions portal, with the following supporting documentation:

1.       Completed Application Form

2.       Two of the most recent School Reports from the current school

3.        Copy of birth certificate and passport 

4.        Covering letter to the Headmaster 

The Senior Management will review all applications once the closing date has passed. Parents will be notified of the outcome of their applications by 1st June 2026. 

GCSE Subject Choice Information 

 

Applications for entry to Year 13 will be considered once the GCSE results are issued in August 2026. Applications should be made via our online admissions portal, with the following supporting documentation:

1. Completed Application Form
2. Copy of GCSE results
3. Copy of Birth certificate 
4. Two most recent School Reports from the current school.

On receipt of this documentation and providing a place can be considered,  the Headmaster's Secretary will contact parents to invite them to meet with the Headmaster.

SIXTH FORM ENTRY TARIFF FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS 

Students applying to Campbell College for entry to Year 13 from another school or further education College:

1. Pupils MUST have met the minimum entry requirements for each of the subjects they wish to study (see Subject Entry Tariff table) and these choices must fit into the timetable available.
2.  IN ADDITION, a minimum of 7 GCSE passes at A*-C including English and Mathematics.
3.  IN ADDITION, a minimum of 14 points at GCSE.
4. There must be space in each of the subjects chosen once current Campbell College pupils have confirmed their choices. 

GCSE points awarded as follows: A*/A = 3pts, B = 2pts, C* = 1½pts, C = 1pt,

or for English Board GCSEs 9 - 7 = 3 pts, 6 = 2pts, 5 = 1½, 4 = 1pt.

Applicants must be able to produce academic reports from their previous school across the last two academic years which demonstrate a high level of attendance, punctuality, behaviour and work ethic.
