The Governors are looking to appoint a new Head of Junior School from August 2026, although a later start date may be negotiable depending on the availability of the chosen candidate. The Wrap Around Care Leader is an integral role, responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Head of Junior School and the Junior School Administrator, ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of the Wrap Around Care facility.
This position requires a dynamic individual who can expertly manage administrative tasks, uphold the highest standards of safety for children (including child protection), form positive relationships and lead a team, and engage positively, warmly and authentically with children. You will be a model of professionalism, supporting colleagues to perform to the best of their ability. You will uphold the school values, and ensure the well-being of children by providing a safe and well-managed environment.
The hours of work are 25 Hours per week, Monday to Friday: 1.00pm – 6.00pm This is a Term Time Appointment (c45 weeks per annum, including paid holidays)
Pay is on NJC Scale: PT23 – PT26, £17.29 - £18.72 per hour, depending on experience. NILGOSC College Contribution: 19%

Classroom Assistants assist with the educational support, pastoral care and inclusion of those children with special educational needs who are entrusted into our care. They are responsible, in the first instance, to Mrs Christine Haslett (Head of Junior School) and Mrs Lynsey Keenan (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and ultimately to the Headmaster of the College and to the Board of Governors.
The hours of employment are dependent upon the individual pupil and the nature of his Statement of Special Educational Needs and the post is term-time only. There are two posts available, one post is 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 3.00pm, initially in Prep 5. The other post is 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday, initially in Prep 6, with flexibility in days and times.
Pay is as per the NJC scale; points 11-14; £28,142 - £29540 per annum, pro rata.
The duration of appointment is subject to review and is dependent upon the continuation of funding from the Department of Education for Northern Ireland.

Part-Time Classroom Assistant in Kindergarten (Temporary for until end of academic year, with possibility of extension) 2 days/week (11 hours in total). Days to be determined.
Classroom Assistants work under the direction of the Kindergarten Leader to support pupils’ access to learning and their pastoral care. They provide general support to the teacher in the effective management of a designated class or classes, both inside and outside the classroom.
Classroom Assistants are responsible, in the first instance, to the Kindergarten Leader, Head of Junior School, and ultimately to the Headmaster and Board of Governors.
The hours of employment range are 11 hours per week, and are term-time only. Remuneration is pro rata on the National Joint Council (NJC) Scale 5-8, £25,583 - £26,824, dependent upon experience.
Additional hours may also be available for assisting with wrap-around care.
