Year 8 Induction
“Our Year 8 induction is always a high point in my year. The buzz and excitement as we welcome the next generation of Campbellians into our wonderful building is a special moment for all of us. We look forward to welcoming you to Campbell in August and to many wonderful experiences over the coming years as part of our valued Campbell Community.”
Mr Robert Robinson, MBE
Friday 25th August 2023 8.40am – 2.30pm.
Pupils should report to Middle School car park on arrival in full school uniform.
Lunch will be provided but a packed lunch can be brought if preferred.
"A warm welcome!
You have found your dedicated page on the Campbell website where you, or your parents, can find out more about the College, explore the campus, ask questions and meet some important people. We will update this webpage with new information, about what school will be like next year, as it becomes available. So please keep an eye on it, even once the holidays start.
We hope that you are looking forward to getting started at Campbell College. We will provide further induction in August which will help you with everything you need to get started, and give you an opportunity to meet with more of your classmates.
There is no single type of Campbellian, you will all follow different paths. The three things we hope for you as a student are that you feel safe, that you are happy and that you work to the best of your ability."
Mr Chris McIvor
Head of Key Stage 3
Welcome to the Campbell College Class of 2023! My name is Mr Styles and I will be your Head of Year, hopefully, for the next seven years. I have been at the College for thirty years; I think it is a great place and I hope you will too.
Along with your tutors we will help to guide you through the next important chapter of your lives. We will be with you for the entire journey. Starting with you on day one and only saying goodbye when you graduate in Year 14. Your tutor is there to help you with any issues or troubles, no matter how small. We are very much looking forward to meeting you on June 12th and starting the process of getting to know you.
Campbell offers a range of excellent opportunities. It may be sport, music, drama, Cadet Force etc. So, try new things and create new friendships for life. All we ask is that you come with a can-do attitude, get stuck in, and try your best in all that you do.
Mr Damian Styles
