Welcome to Year 8

“Our Year 8 induction evening is always a high point in my year.  The buzz and excitement as we welcome the next generation of Campbellians into our wonderful building is a special moment for all of us.  Whilst nothing can replace the personal touch, we have endeavoured through this dedicated web page and through our video messages to make this ‘virtual induction’ feel as personal as possible. We look forward to welcoming you to Campbell in June and to many wonderful experiences over the coming years as part of our valued Campbell Community.”

Mr Robert Robinson, MBE

Welcome from the Headmaster

Welcome from Senior Prefects

Welcome from the Head of Key Stage 3

"A warm welcome!

You have found your dedicated page on the Campbell website where you, or your parents, can find out more about the College, explore the campus, ask questions and meet some important people. We will update this webpage with new information, about what school will be like next year, as it becomes available.  So please keep an eye on it, even once the holidays start.

We hope that you are looking forward to getting started at Campbell College. We will provide further induction in August which will help you with everything you need to get started, and give you an opportunity to meet with more of your classmates.

There is no single type of Campbellian, you will all follow different paths.  The three things we hope for you as a student are that you feel safe, that you are happy and that you work to the best of your ability."

Find out More!

Campbell College first opened its doors in 1894 thanks to a legacy left by linen merchant Henry James Campbell. The stories of all those who have contributed to the life of the College are embedded in the fabric of this historic building. This unique heritage is celebrated by everyone in the Campbell Community and it is respected through traditions that remain today, such as our Pipe Band and our House system.

Below you will find some further information; we hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about the College.

Online Learning

Campbell has always been about more than just academic study. To help maintain and build our sense of community during online learning we provide some ‘extra-curricular’ provision to go alongside the academic tasks that are being set daily online. The aim is to not only provide pastoral support and engagement in all manner of ways for boys and staff, but also a bit of positivity and fun during difficult times.
