Settling In - Staying Safe

We are delighted to have the 'noise' of all our pupils return to the corridors and classrooms, however we must remain vigilant. Whilst we welcome the relaxation of certain restrictions we urge everyone to continue to stick to the guidelines so that together we can endeavour to keep our pupils in the classroom.

The College will follow the latest guidance from the Department of Education, a copy of which can be accessed here.   There are some changes to this guidance, most notably around face coverings. Please keep an eye on this page for the latest guidance and news.

Kindest regards

Robert Robinson M.B.E

Some changes to note.

Face Coverings: Government guidance on the wearing of face coverings in school has been revised.  All pupils unless exempt will be expected to wear a face covering routinely during the school day, whether in class or elsewhere inside the school buildings.  It is also mandatory to do so on school or public transport.

Testing:  Close contacts of confirmed cases of COVID-19 will be asked to take a PCR test within 48 hours of being identified as a close contact, whether or not they have symptoms.

Uniform: Full school uniform (including blazer) will be reinstated from 12th April for all pupils with PE kit allowed only on days when a pupil has PE/Games.

However, we recognise that some boys will have outgrown blazers during lockdown and to purchase a new blazer at this point in the year is not practical. In such cases we will allow for the black Campbell hoody to be worn for the summer term.
