Miniversity

Miniversity is the UK & Ireland’s only Computer Club with a careers education theme providing a STEAM after-school programme. Each week covers a new career topic, where the boys learn about various jobs through the use of ICT. Lesson plans are designed specifically for children and with future careers in mind.

All university career topics are covered, using a variety of computer programs such as Windows Movie Maker, SCRATCH Coding, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Paint.  In addition, the boys will learn keyboard skills, touch typing and Online Safety.  A big emphasis is on presentational skills, which will come in useful later in life.
